NOLA

No city like it - New Orleans.  We spent a summer weekend near City Park.  A fantastic day at the Botanical Gardens, Storyland - a classic park for children to climb the hill with Jack and Jill with Mother Goose flying above in the live oaks dripped with Spanish Moss.  A train takes families around the lake, under the oaks' canopies, past sculptures, and couples in canoes on the river.  The NOMA and its picturesque sculpture garden are complete with Rodin and Rodrigue.  

... then the food.  It's hard to find a bad restaurant in NOLA.  The fusion of so many cultures - like genetics - can only produce a beautiful, unique result!

Cafe Degas, Ralph's on the Park, Ye Old College Inn - Farm to Table, Mondo the neighborhood restaurant Susan Spicer has always wanted, the list goes on ... 

Truly the last Bohemia in the US  ---  I love NOLA more every visit!
